¹⁷ And your life ^(A)would be brighter than noonday.
Though you were dark, you would be like the morning.

^6 (A)He shall bring forth your righteousness as the light,
And your justice as the noonday.

^8 (A)Then your light shall break forth like the morning,
Your healing shall spring forth speedily,
And your righteousness shall go before you;
^(B)The glory of the Lord shall be your rear guard.
⁹ Then you shall call, and the Lord will answer;
You shall cry, and He will say, ‘Here I am.’

^8 (A)Do not rejoice over me, my enemy;
^(B)When I fall, I will arise;
When I sit in darkness,
The Lord will be a light to me.
^9 (C)I will bear the indignation of the Lord,
Because I have sinned against Him,
Until He pleads my ^(D)case
And executes justice for me.
He will bring me forth to the light;
I will see His righteousness.

^3 (A)Let us know,
Let us pursue the knowledge of the Lord.
His going forth is established ^(B)as the morning;
^(C)He will come to us ^(D)like the rain,
Like the latter and former rain to the earth.

^4 (A)Unto the upright there arises light in the darkness;
He is gracious, and full of compassion, and righteous.

² But to you who ^(A)fear My name
The ^(B)Sun of Righteousness shall arise
With healing in His wings;
And you shall go out
And grow fat like stall-fed calves.
