Job 10:13-17
Legacy Standard Bible
13 Yet (A)these things You have concealed in Your heart;
I know that this is within You:
14 If I sin, then You would (B)take note of me
And (C)would not acquit me of my guilt.
15 If (D)I am wicked, woe to me!
And (E)if I am righteous, I dare not lift up my head.
I am sated with disgrace—so see my misery!
16 Should my head be set on high, (F)You would hunt me like a lion;
And again You would show Your (G)wonders against me.
17 You renew (H)Your witnesses against me
And increase Your vexation toward me;
[a](I)Hardship after hardship is with me.

Job 10:13-17
Evangelical Heritage Version
13 You hid these things in your heart,
but I know that this is what you had in mind:
14 If I sinned and you were watching me,
you would not acquit me of my guilt.
15 If I was wicked, I would be cursed!
But even if I was righteous, I could not lift up my head,
because I am filled with shame and aware of[a] my misery.
16 If I lift myself up,[b] you hunt me down like a lion.
You turn and display amazing power against me.
17 You produce new witnesses to oppose me,
and you become more irritated with me.
You attack me with reinforcements.
