⁹ So Satan answered the Lord and said, “Does Job fear God for nothing? ^10 (A)Have You not ^[a]made a hedge around him, around his household, and around all that he has on every side? ^(B)You have blessed the work of his hands, and his possessions have increased in the land. ^11 (C)But now, stretch out Your hand and touch all that he has, and he will surely ^(D)curse^[b] You to Your face!”

⁴ So Satan answered the Lord and said, “Skin for skin! Yes, all that a man has he will give for his life. ^5 (A)But stretch out Your hand now, and touch his ^(B)bone and his flesh, and he will surely ^[a]curse You to Your face!”
