Job 1:4-6

Job 1:4-6
King James Version
4 And his sons went and feasted in their houses, every one his day; and sent and called for their three sisters to eat and to drink with them.
5 And it was so, when the days of their feasting were gone about, that Job sent and sanctified them, and rose up early in the morning, and offered burnt offerings according to the number of them all: for Job said, It may be that my sons have sinned, and cursed God in their hearts. Thus did Job continually.
6 Now there was a day when the sons of God came to present themselves before the Lord, and Satan came also among them.

Job 1:4-6
New King James Version
4 And his sons would go and feast in their houses, each on his appointed day, and would send and invite their three sisters to eat and drink with them. 5 So it was, when the days of feasting had run their course, that Job would send and [a]sanctify them, and he would rise early in the morning (A)and offer burnt offerings according to the number of them all. For Job said, “It may be that my sons have sinned and (B)cursed[b] God in their hearts.” Thus Job did regularly.

Job 1:4-6
New International Version
4 His sons used to hold feasts(A) in their homes on their birthdays, and they would invite their three sisters to eat and drink with them. 5 When a period of feasting had run its course, Job would make arrangements for them to be purified.(B) Early in the morning he would sacrifice a burnt offering(C) for each of them, thinking, “Perhaps my children have sinned(D) and cursed God(E) in their hearts.” This was Job’s regular custom.
6 One day the angels[a](F) came to present themselves before the Lord, and Satan[b](G) also came with them.(H)
