20 Alors Job se leva, déchira son manteau, et se rasa la tête; puis, se jetant par terre, il se prosterna,
21 et dit: Je suis sorti nu du sein de ma mère, et nu je retournerai dans le sein de la terre. L'Éternel a donné, et l'Éternel a ôté; que le nom de l'Éternel soit béni!
22 En tout cela, Job ne pécha point et n'attribua rien d'injuste à Dieu.

20 Job se leva alors, déchira son manteau et se rasa la tête. Puis il se jeta par terre, se prosterna 21 et dit: «C’est nu que je suis sorti du ventre de ma mère, et c’est nu que je repartirai. L'Eternel a donné et l'Eternel a repris. Que le nom de l'Eternel soit béni!»
22 Dans tout cela, Job ne pécha pas, il n'attribua rien d’inapproprié à Dieu.

20 At this, Job got up and tore his robe(A) and shaved his head.(B) Then he fell to the ground in worship(C) 21 and said:
“Naked I came from my mother’s womb,
and naked I will depart.[a](D)
The Lord gave and the Lord has taken away;(E)
may the name of the Lord be praised.”(F)
22 In all this, Job did not sin by charging God with wrongdoing.(G)
