16 And while he was still speaking, another came, and said, “The fire of God has fallen from the sky and has burnt up the sheep and the servants and devoured them. But only I have escaped, alone, to tell you.”
17 And while he was still speaking, another came, and said, “The Chaldeans appointed three bands and attacked the camels, and have taken them, and have killed the servants with the edge of the sword. But only I have escaped, alone, to tell you.”
18 And while he was still speaking, another came and said, “Your sons and your daughters were eating and drinking wine in their eldest brother’s house,

16 While he was still speaking, another messenger came and said, “The fire of God fell from the heavens(A) and burned up the sheep and the servants,(B) and I am the only one who has escaped to tell you!”
17 While he was still speaking, another messenger came and said, “The Chaldeans(C) formed three raiding parties and swept down on your camels and made off with them. They put the servants to the sword, and I am the only one who has escaped to tell you!”
18 While he was still speaking, yet another messenger came and said, “Your sons and daughters(D) were feasting(E) and drinking wine at the oldest brother’s house,
