14 Entonces un mensajero llegó a decirle a Job: «Mientras los bueyes araban y los asnos pastaban por allí cerca, 15 nos atacaron los de Sabá y se los llevaron. A los criados los mataron a filo de espada. ¡Solo yo pude escapar y ahora vengo a contárselo!».

16 No había terminado de hablar este mensajero cuando uno más llegó y dijo: «El fuego de Dios cayó del cielo y quemó a las ovejas y a los criados. ¡Solo yo pude escapar para venir a contárselo!».

14 a messenger came to Job. He said, “While the oxen were plowing and the donkeys were grazing nearby, 15 men from Sheba attacked. They took the livestock and massacred the servants. I’m the only one who has escaped to tell you.”

16 While he was still speaking, another ⌞messenger⌟ came and said, “A fire from God fell from heaven and completely burned your flocks and servants. I’m the only one who has escaped to tell you.”

14 A servant brought a message to Job. He said, ‘We were using your oxen to plough the fields. Your donkeys were eating grass beside them. 15 Some men from Sheba suddenly came and they attacked us. They took away all your oxen and your donkeys. They also killed all your other servants. I was the only one who escaped. I ran here to tell you what has happened.’

16 That servant was still speaking, when another servant arrived. He said to Job, ‘God has sent lightning down from the sky. It has killed your sheep and your servants. I was the only one who escaped. I ran here to tell you what has happened.’
