And it was so, when the days of their feasting were gone about, that Job sent and sanctified them, and rose up early in the morning, and offered burnt offerings according to the number of them all: for Job said, It may be that my sons have sinned, and cursed God in their hearts. Thus did Job continually.

When a period of feasting had run its course, Job would make arrangements for them to be purified.(A) Early in the morning he would sacrifice a burnt offering(B) for each of them, thinking, “Perhaps my children have sinned(C) and cursed God(D) in their hearts.” This was Job’s regular custom.

At nangyari, nang makaraan ang mga kaarawan ng kanilang pagpipista, na si Job ay nagsugo, at pinapagbanal sila, at bumangong maaga sa kinaumagahan, at naghandog ng mga handog na susunugin ayon sa bilang nilang lahat: sapagka't sinabi ni Job, Marahil ang aking mga anak ay nangagkasala, at itinakuwil ang Dios sa kanilang mga puso. Therefore take unto you now seven bullocks and seven rams, and go to my servant Job, and offer up for yourselves a burnt offering; and my servant Job shall pray for you: for him will I accept: lest I deal with you after your folly, in that ye have not spoken of me the thing which is right, like my servant Job.

So Eliphaz the Temanite and Bildad the Shuhite and Zophar the Naamathite went, and did according as the Lord commanded them: the Lord also accepted Job.

So now take seven bulls and seven rams(A) and go to my servant Job(B) and sacrifice a burnt offering(C) for yourselves. My servant Job will pray for you, and I will accept his prayer(D) and not deal with you according to your folly.(E) You have not spoken the truth about me, as my servant Job has.”(F) So Eliphaz the Temanite, Bildad the Shuhite and Zophar the Naamathite(G) did what the Lord told them; and the Lord accepted Job’s prayer.(H)

Kaya't magsikuha kayo sa inyo ngayon ng pitong guyang baka, at pitong lalaking tupa, at magsiparoon kayo sa aking lingkod na kay Job, at ihandog ninyo sa ganang inyo na pinakahandog na susunugin: at idadalangin kayo ng aking lingkod na si Job: sapagka't siya'y aking tatanggapin, baka kayo'y aking gawan ng ayon sa inyong kamangmangan; sapagka't hindi kayo nangagsasalita tungkol sa akin ng bagay na matuwid, na gaya ng aking lingkod na si Job.

Sa gayo'y nagsiyaon si Eliphaz na Temanita, at si Bildad na Suhita, at si Sophar na Naamatita, at ginawa ang ayon sa iniutos sa kanila ng Panginoon: at nilingap ng Panginoon si Job.
