¹⁸ And ^(A)there were noises and thunderings and lightnings; ^(B)and there was a great earthquake, such a mighty and great earthquake ^(C)as had not occurred since men were on the earth. ¹⁹ Now ^(D)the great city was divided into three parts, and the cities of the nations fell. And ^(E)great Babylon ^(F)was remembered before God, ^(G)to give her the cup of the wine of the fierceness of His wrath. ²⁰ Then ^(H)every island fled away, and the mountains were not found.

¹³ In the same hour ^(A)there was a great earthquake, ^(B)and a tenth of the city fell. In the earthquake seven thousand people were killed, and the rest were afraid ^(C)and gave glory to the God of heaven.

¹¹ And there will be great ^(A)earthquakes in various places, and famines and pestilences; and there will be fearful sights and great signs from heaven.

⁵¹ Then, behold, ^(A)the veil of the temple was torn in two from top to bottom; and the earth quaked, and the rocks were split,
