Job 9:32-35
English Standard Version
32 For he is not a man, as I am, that I might answer him,
that we should (A)come to trial together.
33 (B)There is no[a] arbiter between us,
who might lay his hand on us both.
34 (C)Let him take his (D)rod away from me,
and let (E)not dread of him terrify me.
35 Then I would speak without fear of him,
for I am not so in myself.

so that I can answer him,
or that we can enter into litigation[a] with one another.
33 There is not yet a mediator between us,
who would set his hand on the two of us,
34 removing his rod from me,
and not letting terror of him overwhelm me.
35 Otherwise, I would speak without being terrified of him,
because I’m not like that inside myself.”
