¹⁴ Darkness^(A) comes upon them in the daytime;
    at noon they grope as in the night.^(B)

²⁵ They grope in darkness with no light;^(A)
    he makes them stagger like drunkards.^(B)

¹⁰ Like the blind^(A) we grope along the wall,
    feeling our way like people without eyes.
At midday we stumble^(B) as if it were twilight;
    among the strong, we are like the dead.^(C)

¹⁹ But the way of the wicked is like deep darkness;^(A)
