¹⁷Shall mortal man be more just than God? shall a man be more pure than his maker?

¹⁷It said, ‘Can a human being be more right than God?
Can even a strong man be more pure than the God who made him?

³And the second angel poured out his vial upon the sea; and it became as the blood of a dead man: and every living soul died in the sea.

³The second angel poured out his bowl on the sea. It turned into blood like the blood of a dead person. Every living thing in the sea died.

⁷To them who by patient continuance in well doing seek for glory and honour and immortality, eternal life:

⁷God will give eternal life to those who keep on doing good. They want glory, honor, and life that never ends.

⁵³For this corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal must put on immortality.

⁵³Our natural bodies don’t last forever. They must be dressed with what does last forever. What dies must be dressed with what does not die.
