⁹“Will the wild ox^(A) consent to serve you?^(B)
Will it stay by your manger^(C) at night?

Job 39:9

⁹Will the unicorn be willing to serve thee, or abide by thy crib?

⁴Where there are no oxen, the manger is empty,
but from the strength of an ox^(A) come abundant harvests.

⁴Where no oxen are, the crib is clean: but much increase is by the strength of the ox.

³The ox knows^(A) its master,
the donkey its owner’s manger,^(B)
but Israel does not know,^(C)
my people do not understand.^(D)”

³The ox knoweth his owner, and the ass his master's crib: but Israel doth not know, my people doth not consider.
