Job 36:8-11

New International Version

⁸ But if people are bound in chains,^(A)
    held fast by cords of affliction,^(B)
9 he tells them what they have done—
    that they have sinned arrogantly.^(C)
10 He makes them listen^(D) to correction^(E)
    and commands them to repent of their evil.^(F)
11 If they obey and serve him,^(G)
    they will spend the rest of their days in prosperity^(H)
    and their years in contentment.^(I)
