²⁶ then that person can pray to God and find favor with him,^(A)
    they will see God’s face and shout for joy;^(B)
    he will restore them to full well-being.^(C)
27 And they will go to others and say,
    ‘I have sinned,^(D) I have perverted what is right,^(E)
    but I did not get what I deserved.^(F)
28 God has delivered^(G) me from going down to the pit,^(H)
    and I shall live to enjoy the light of life.’^(I)

²⁹ “God does all these things to a person^(J)—
    twice, even three times^(K)—
³⁰ to turn them back^(L) from the pit,^(M)
    that the light of life^(N) may shine on them.^(O)
