Job 32:10-14
Lexham English Bible
10 Therefore I say, ‘Listen to me;
let me also declare my knowledge myself.’
11 “Look, I waited for your[a] words;
I listened for your[b] insight,
until you searched out what to say.[c]
12 And I directed my attention to you;[d]
and, look, there is no one for Job who refuted,
answering his words among you.
13 So do not say, ‘We have found wisdom;
let God refute him, not a man.’
14 But[e] he did not direct his words[f] to me,
and I will not answer him with your[g] words.
Job 32:10-14
Common English Bible
10 Therefore, I say: “Listen to me;
I’ll state my view, even I.”
11 Look, I waited while you spoke,
listened while you reasoned,
while you searched for words.
12 I was attentive to you,
but you offered no rebuke to Job,
no answer from you for his words.
13 Be careful you don’t say, “We’ve found wisdom;
God, not a person, will defeat him.”
14 Now Job[a] hasn’t addressed me,
and I won’t quote you to him.
