if my steps have turned from the path,(A)
    if my heart has been led by my eyes,

then may others eat what I have sown,(D)
    and may my crops be uprooted.(E)

“If my heart has been enticed(F) by a woman,(G)
    or if I have lurked at my neighbor’s door,
10 then may my wife grind(H) another man’s grain,
    and may other men sleep with her.(I)
11 For that would have been wicked,(J)
    a sin to be judged.(K)
12 It is a fire(L) that burns to Destruction[a];(M)
