²⁹ “If I ^(A)have been glad at the upheaval of the one who hated me,
Or ^[a]exulted when evil found him—

¹⁵ But ^(A)at my ^[a]stumbling they were glad and gathered themselves together;
The ^[b](B)smiters whom I did not know gathered together against me,
They ^(C)tore at me and never were silent.

^19 (A)Let those who are wrongfully ^(B)my enemies not be glad over me;
Nor let those ^(C)who hate me without cause ^[a](D)wink maliciously.

⁵ He who mocks the ^(A)poor reproaches his Maker;
He who is ^(B)glad at disaster will not go unpunished.

^12 (A)Now do not look on your brother’s day with triumph,
The day of his misfortune.
And ^(B)do not be glad over the sons of Judah
In the day when they perish;
And ^(C)do not ^[a]let your mouth speak great things
In the day of their distress.
