Job 30:26-31
New International Version
26 Yet when I hoped for good, evil came;
when I looked for light, then came darkness.(A)
27 The churning inside me never stops;(B)
days of suffering confront me.(C)
28 I go about blackened,(D) but not by the sun;
I stand up in the assembly and cry for help.(E)
29 I have become a brother of jackals,(F)
a companion of owls.(G)
30 My skin grows black(H) and peels;(I)
my body burns with fever.(J)
31 My lyre is tuned to mourning,(K)
and my pipe(L) to the sound of wailing.

27 My bowels boiled, and rested not: the days of affliction prevented me.
28 I went mourning without the sun: I stood up, and I cried in the congregation.
29 I am a brother to dragons, and a companion to owls.
30 My skin is black upon me, and my bones are burned with heat.
31 My harp also is turned to mourning, and my organ into the voice of them that weep.

42 Then Job answered the Lord, and said,
2 I know that thou canst do every thing, and that no thought can be withholden from thee.
3 Who is he that hideth counsel without knowledge? therefore have I uttered that I understood not; things too wonderful for me, which I knew not.
4 Hear, I beseech thee, and I will speak: I will demand of thee, and declare thou unto me.
5 I have heard of thee by the hearing of the ear: but now mine eye seeth thee.
6 Wherefore I abhor myself, and repent in dust and ashes.
