¹⁵ Terrors are turned upon me;
    my honor is pursued as by the wind,
    and my prosperity has passed away like a cloud.^(A)

³ Therefore they shall be like the morning mist
    or like the dew that goes away early,
like chaff that swirls from the threshing floor
    or like smoke from a window.^(A)

²² I have swept away your transgressions like a cloud
    and your sins like mist;
return to me, for I have redeemed you.^(A)

⁴ For the arrows of the Almighty^[a] are in me;
    my spirit drinks their poison;
    the terrors of God are arrayed against me.^(A)
