¹¹ He dams up the streams from trickling;
What is hidden he brings forth to light.

And cut the bars of iron.
³ I will give you the treasures of darkness
And hidden riches of secret places,
^(C)That you may know that I, the Lord,
Who ^(D)call you by your name,
Am the God of Israel.

^27 (A)Who says to the deep, ‘Be dry!
And I will dry up your rivers’;

²⁵ I have dug and drunk water,
And with the soles of my feet I have dried up
All the brooks of ^[a]defense.’
