12 And by his power the sea grows calm; he is skilled at crushing its pride! 13 The heavens are made beautiful by his Spirit;[a] he pierces the swiftly gliding serpent.
14 “These are some of the minor things he does, merely a whisper of his power. Who then can withstand his thunder?”

12 By his power he churned up the sea;(A)
by his wisdom(B) he cut Rahab(C) to pieces.
13 By his breath the skies(D) became fair;
his hand pierced the gliding serpent.(E)
14 And these are but the outer fringe of his works;
how faint the whisper(F) we hear of him!(G)
