⁷ He ^(A)perishes forever like his refuse;
Those who have seen him ^(B)will say, ‘Where is he?’
⁸ He flies away like a ^(C)dream, and they cannot find him;
Even like a vision of the night he is ^(D)chased away.
⁹ The ^(E)eye which saw him sees him no longer,
And ^(F)his place no longer beholds him.

³⁵ I have ^(A)seen a wicked, ruthless man
Spreading himself like a ^(B)luxuriant ^[a]tree in its native soil.
³⁶ Then ^[b]he passed away, and behold, he ^(C)was no more;
I sought for him, but he could not be found.
