2 Again ^(A)there was a day when the sons of God came to present themselves before the Lord, and Satan also came among them to present himself before the Lord.

Satan Allowed to Test Job

⁶ Now there was a day when ^(A)the sons of God came to present themselves before the Lord, and ^(B)Satan^[a] also came among them.

¹⁹ And the angel answered him, “I am ^(A)Gabriel. ^(B)I stand in the presence of God, and I was sent to speak to you and to bring you this good news.

¹⁴ Are they not all ministering spirits ^(A)sent out to serve for the sake of those who are to ^(B)inherit salvation?
