¹¹Terrors shall make him afraid on every side, and shall drive him to his feet.

¹¹Terrors^(A) startle him on every side^(B)
and dog^(C) his every step.

¹¹Or darkness, that thou canst not see; and abundance of waters cover thee.

¹¹why it is so dark^(A) you cannot see,
and why a flood of water covers you.^(B)

²¹Acquaint now thyself with him, and be at peace: thereby good shall come unto thee.

²¹“Submit to God and be at peace^(A) with him;^(B)
in this way prosperity will come to you.^(C)
