⁹ Yet the righteous holds to his way,
    and he who has ^(A)clean hands grows stronger and stronger.

    which shines ^(C)brighter and brighter until ^(D)full day.

¹⁵ When you ^(A)spread out your hands,
    I will hide my eyes from you;
^(B)even though you make many prayers,
    I will not listen;
    ^(C)your hands are full of blood.
^16 (D)Wash yourselves; make yourselves clean;
    remove the evil of your deeds from before my eyes;
^(E)cease to do evil,

^16 (A)One who is wise is cautious^[a] and ^(B)turns away from evil,
    but a fool is reckless and careless.

³⁰ He ^(A)delivers even the one who is not innocent,
    who will be delivered through ^(B)the cleanness of your hands.”
