33 God shall destroy him as the vine her sour [a]grape, and shall cast him off, as the olive doth her flower.

34 For the congregation of the hypocrite shall be desolate, and fire shall devour the houses of [b]bribes.

35 For they [c]conceive mischief and bring forth vanity, and their belly hath prepared deceit.

33 He will be like a vine stripped of its unripe grapes,(A)
    like an olive tree shedding its blossoms.(B)
34 For the company of the godless(C) will be barren,
    and fire will consume(D) the tents of those who love bribes.(E)
35 They conceive trouble(F) and give birth to evil;(G)
    their womb fashions deceit.”
