³² When ^(A)his days are not yet fulfilled,
And his palm ^(B)branch is not green.
³³ He will drop off his unripe grape like the vine,
And will ^(C)cast off his flower like the olive tree.

¹⁶ Who were snatched away ^(A)before their time,
Whose ^(B)foundations were ^[a]washed away by a river?

²³ But You, O God, will bring them down to the ^[a](A)pit of corruption;
^(B)Men of bloodshed and deceit will ^(C)not live out half their days.
But I will ^(D)trust in You.
