⁴Who can bring a clean thing out of an unclean? not one.

¹⁰But a man dies and is laid low;^(A)
he breathes his last and is no more.^(B)

¹⁰But man dieth, and wasteth away: yea, man giveth up the ghost, and where is he?

¹⁴If someone dies, will they live again?
All the days of my hard service^(A)
I will wait for my renewal^[a]^(B) to come.

¹⁴If a man die, shall he live again? all the days of my appointed time will I wait, till my change come.
