⁶ The ^(A)tents of the destroyers are complacent,
And those who provoke God ^(B)are secure,
^[a]Whom God brings ^(C)into their power.

²⁷ Like a cage full of birds,
So their houses are full of ^(A)deceit;
Therefore they have become great and rich.
²⁸ They are ^(B)fat, they are sleek;
They also ^[a]excel in deeds of evil;
They do not plead the cause,
The cause of the ^[b](C)orphan, that they may succeed;
And they do not ^[c]render justice for the poor.

⁴ Therefore the ^(A)law is ^[a]ignored,
And justice never comes forth.
For the wicked ^(B)surround the righteous;
Therefore justice comes forth ^(C)perverted.
