The ^(B)flame will wither his shoots,
And by ^(C)the breath of His mouth he will depart.

^18 [a]He is driven from light ^(A)into darkness,
And ^(B)chased from the inhabited world.

²⁶ Complete ^(A)darkness is held in reserve for his treasures;
A ^(B)fire unfanned will devour him;
It will consume the survivor in his tent.

¹³ “^[a]Others have been with those who rebel against the light;
They do not want to recognize its ways
Nor abide in its paths.
