²⁰But the ^(A)eyes of the wicked will come to an end,
And escape will ^(B)perish from them;
And their ^(C)hope is ^(D)the expiring of their soul.”

²⁰But the eyes of the wicked will fail,^(A)
and escape will elude them;^(B)
their hope will become a dying gasp.”^(C)

³⁵^(A)Refuge will perish from the shepherds
And escape from the mighty ones of the flock.

³⁵The shepherds will have nowhere to flee,
the leaders of the flock no place to escape.^(A)
