23 Por isso, os pais disseram: “Ele tem idade suficiente para falar por si. Perguntem-lhe.”
24 Pela segunda vez, os fariseus mandaram vir o que tinha sido cego e disseram-lhe: “Dá glória a Deus, porque sabemos que esse homem é um pecador!”
25 Ele respondeu: “Se é pecador, não sei; o que sei é que era cego e agora vejo!”

23 Por isso, é que seus pais disseram: Tem idade; perguntai-lho a ele mesmo.
24 Chamaram, pois, pela segunda vez o homem que tinha sido cego e disseram-lhe: Dá glória a Deus; nós sabemos que esse homem é pecador. 25 Respondeu ele, pois, e disse: Se é pecador, não sei; uma coisa sei, e é que, havendo eu sido cego, agora vejo.

23 That was why his parents said, “He is of age; ask him.”(A)
24 A second time they summoned the man who had been blind. “Give glory to God by telling the truth,”(B) they said. “We know this man is a sinner.”(C)
25 He replied, “Whether he is a sinner or not, I don’t know. One thing I do know. I was blind but now I see!”
