¹² Yet to all who did receive him, to those who believed^(A) in his name,^(B) he gave the right to become children of God^(C)—

¹⁴ For those who are led by the Spirit of God^(A) are the children of God.^(B)

¹⁶ The Spirit himself testifies with our spirit^(A) that we are God’s children.^(B)

⁶ And God raised us up with Christ^(A) and seated us with him^(B) in the heavenly realms^(C) in Christ Jesus, ⁷ in order that in the coming ages he might show the incomparable riches of his grace,^(D) expressed in his kindness^(E) to us in Christ Jesus. ⁸ For it is by grace^(F) you have been saved,^(G) through faith^(H)—and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God— ⁹ not by works,^(I) so that no one can boast.^(J)
