²⁴ I said therefore unto you, that ye shall die in your sins: for except ye believe that I am he, ye shall die in your sins.

²⁸ Jesus therefore said, When ye have lifted up the Son of man, then shall ye know that ^[a]I am he, and that I do nothing of myself, but as the Father taught me, I speak these things.

⁵⁸ Jesus said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Before Abraham was born, I am.

¹⁹ From henceforth I tell you before it come to pass, that, when it is come to pass, ye may believe that I am he.

⁵ They answered him, Jesus of Nazareth. Jesus saith unto them, I am he. And Judas also, who ^[a]betrayed him, was standing with them. ⁶ When therefore he said unto them, I am he, they went backward, and fell to the ground.
