A glória futura de Jerusalém
62 Por amor de Sião, me não calarei e, por amor de Jerusalém, me não aquietarei, até que saia a sua justiça como um resplendor, e a sua salvação, como uma tocha acesa. 2 E as nações verão a tua justiça, e todos os reis, a tua glória; e chamar-te-ão por um nome novo, que a boca do Senhor nomeará. 3 E serás uma coroa de glória na mão do Senhor e um diadema real na mão do teu Deus. 4 Nunca mais te chamarão Desamparada, nem a tua terra se denominará jamais Assolada; mas chamar-te-ão Hefzibá; e à tua terra, Beulá, porque o Senhor se agrada de ti; e com a tua terra o Senhor se casará. 5 Porque, como o jovem se casa com a donzela, assim teus filhos se casarão contigo; e, como o noivo se alegra com a noiva, assim se alegrará contigo o teu Deus.
6 Ó Jerusalém! Sobre os teus muros pus guardas, que todo o dia e toda a noite se não calarão; ó vós que fazeis menção do Senhor, não haja silêncio em vós, 7 nem estejais em silêncio, até que confirme e até que ponha a Jerusalém por louvor na terra. 8 Jurou o Senhor pela sua mão direita e pelo braço da sua força: Nunca mais darei o teu trigo por comida aos teus inimigos, nem os estranhos beberão o teu mosto, em que trabalhaste. 9 Mas os que o ajuntarem o comerão e louvarão ao Senhor; e os que o colherem beberão nos átrios do meu santuário.
10 Passai, passai pelas portas; preparai o caminho ao povo; aplainai, aplainai a estrada, limpai-a das pedras; arvorai a bandeira aos povos. 11 Eis que o Senhor fez ouvir até às extremidades da terra: Dizei à filha de Sião: Eis que a tua salvação vem; eis que com ele vem o seu galardão, e a sua obra, diante dele. 12 E chamar-lhes-ão povo santo, os remidos do Senhor; e tu serás chamada Procurada, Cidade não desamparada.

62 För Sions skull vill jag icke tiga, och för Jerusalems skull vill jag ej unna mig ro, förrän dess rätt går upp såsom solens sken och dess frälsning lyser såsom ett brinnande bloss.
2 Och folken skola se din rätt och alla konungar din härlighet; och du skall få ett nytt namn, som HERRENS mun skall bestämma.
3 Så skall du vara en härlig krona i HERRENS hand, en konungslig huvudbindel i din Guds hand.
4 Du skall icke mer kallas »den övergivna», ej heller skall ditt land mer kallas »ödemark», utan du skall få heta »hon som jag har min lust i», och ditt land skall få heta »äkta hustrun»; ty HERREN har sin lust i dig, och ditt land har fått sin äkta man.
5 Ty såsom när en ung man bliver en jungrus äkta herre, så skola dina barn bliva dina äkta herrar, och såsom en brudgum fröjdar sig över sin brud, så skall din Gud fröjda sig över dig.
6 På dina murar, Jerusalem, har jag ställt väktare; varken dag eller natt få de någonsin tystna. I som skolen ropa till HERREN, given eder ingen ro.
7 Och given honom ingen ro förrän han åter har byggt upp Jerusalem och låtit det bliva ett ämne till lovsång på jorden.
8 HERREN har svurit vid sin högra hand och sin starka arm: Jag skall icke mer giva din säd till mat åt dina fiender, och främlingar skola icke dricka ditt vin, frukten av din möda.
9 Nej, de som insamla säden skola ock äta den och skola lova HERREN, och de som inbärga vinet skola dricka det i min helgedoms gårdar.
10 Dragen ut, dragen ut genom portarna, bereden väg för folket; banen, ja, banen en farväg rensen den från stenar, resen upp ett baner för folken.
11 Hör, HERREN höjer ett rop, och det når till jordens ända: Sägen till dottern Sion: Se, din frälsning kommer. Se, han har med sig sin lön, och hans segerbyte går framför honom.
12 Och man skall kalla dem »det heliga folket», »HERRENS förlossade»; och dig själv skall man kalla »den mångbesökta staden», »staden, som ej varder övergiven».

Zion’s New Name
62 For Zion’s sake I will not keep silent,(A)
for Jerusalem’s sake I will not remain quiet,
till her vindication(B) shines out like the dawn,(C)
her salvation(D) like a blazing torch.
2 The nations(E) will see your vindication,
and all kings your glory;
you will be called by a new name(F)
that the mouth of the Lord will bestow.
3 You will be a crown(G) of splendor in the Lord’s hand,
a royal diadem in the hand of your God.
4 No longer will they call you Deserted,(H)
or name your land Desolate.(I)
But you will be called Hephzibah,[a](J)
and your land Beulah[b];
for the Lord will take delight(K) in you,
and your land will be married.(L)
5 As a young man marries a young woman,
so will your Builder marry you;
as a bridegroom(M) rejoices over his bride,
so will your God rejoice(N) over you.
6 I have posted watchmen(O) on your walls, Jerusalem;
they will never be silent day or night.
You who call on the Lord,
give yourselves no rest,(P)
7 and give him no rest(Q) till he establishes Jerusalem
and makes her the praise(R) of the earth.
8 The Lord has sworn(S) by his right hand
and by his mighty arm:
“Never again will I give your grain(T)
as food for your enemies,
and never again will foreigners drink the new wine
for which you have toiled;
9 but those who harvest it will eat(U) it
and praise the Lord,(V)
and those who gather the grapes will drink it
in the courts of my sanctuary.”(W)
10 Pass through, pass through the gates!(X)
Prepare the way for the people.
Build up, build up the highway!(Y)
Remove the stones.
Raise a banner(Z) for the nations.
11 The Lord has made proclamation
to the ends of the earth:(AA)
“Say to Daughter Zion,(AB)
‘See, your Savior comes!(AC)
See, his reward is with him,
and his recompense accompanies him.’”(AD)
12 They will be called(AE) the Holy People,(AF)
the Redeemed(AG) of the Lord;
and you will be called Sought After,
the City No Longer Deserted.(AH)

62 For Zion's sake will I not hold my peace, and for Jerusalem's sake I will not rest, until the righteousness thereof go forth as brightness, and the salvation thereof as a lamp that burneth.
2 And the Gentiles shall see thy righteousness, and all kings thy glory: and thou shalt be called by a new name, which the mouth of the Lord shall name.
3 Thou shalt also be a crown of glory in the hand of the Lord, and a royal diadem in the hand of thy God.
4 Thou shalt no more be termed Forsaken; neither shall thy land any more be termed Desolate: but thou shalt be called Hephzibah, and thy land Beulah: for the Lord delighteth in thee, and thy land shall be married.
5 For as a young man marrieth a virgin, so shall thy sons marry thee: and as the bridegroom rejoiceth over the bride, so shall thy God rejoice over thee.
6 I have set watchmen upon thy walls, O Jerusalem, which shall never hold their peace day nor night: ye that make mention of the Lord, keep not silence,
7 And give him no rest, till he establish, and till he make Jerusalem a praise in the earth.
8 The Lord hath sworn by his right hand, and by the arm of his strength, Surely I will no more give thy corn to be meat for thine enemies; and the sons of the stranger shall not drink thy wine, for the which thou hast laboured:
9 But they that have gathered it shall eat it, and praise the Lord; and they that have brought it together shall drink it in the courts of my holiness.
10 Go through, go through the gates; prepare ye the way of the people; cast up, cast up the highway; gather out the stones; lift up a standard for the people.
11 Behold, the Lord hath proclaimed unto the end of the world, Say ye to the daughter of Zion, Behold, thy salvation cometh; behold, his reward is with him, and his work before him.
12 And they shall call them, The holy people, The redeemed of the Lord: and thou shalt be called, Sought out, A city not forsaken.
