24 But only[a] in this must the one who boasts boast,
that he has insight,
and that he knows me,
that I am Yahweh,
showing loyal love, justice, and righteousness on the earth,
for in these things I delight,” declares[b] Yahweh.
The Way of the Nations
25 “Look, days are coming,” declares[c] Yahweh, “and I will call into account all those who are circumcised in the foreskin: 26 Egypt, Judah, and Edom, and the Ammonites,[d] and Moab, and all those who are trimmed to the side, those who live in the desert,[e] for all the nations are uncircumcised, and all the house of Israel are uncircumcised of heart.”

that they have the understanding to know(B) me,
that I am the Lord,(C) who exercises kindness,(D)
justice and righteousness(E) on earth,
for in these I delight,”
declares the Lord.
25 “The days are coming,” declares the Lord, “when I will punish all who are circumcised only in the flesh(F)— 26 Egypt, Judah, Edom, Ammon, Moab and all who live in the wilderness in distant places.[a](G) For all these nations are really uncircumcised,(H) and even the whole house of Israel is uncircumcised in heart.(I)”
