Jeremiah 6:27-30

²⁷ “I have ^(A)made you a tester of metals and ^[a]an assayer among My people,
That you may know and test their way.”
²⁸ All of them are rebelliously stubborn,
^(B)Going about as a slanderer.
They are ^(C)bronze and iron;
They, all of them, are corrupt.
²⁹ The bellows blow fiercely;
The lead ^[b]is consumed by the fire;
In vain the refining goes on,
But the ^(D)evil ones are not ^[c]separated.
^30 (E)They call them rejected silver
Because ^(F)Yahweh has rejected them.
