Jeremiah 5:7-9
New King James Version
7 “How shall I pardon you for this?
Your children have forsaken Me
And (A)sworn by those (B)that are not gods.
(C)When I had fed them to the full,
Then they committed adultery
And assembled themselves by troops in the harlots’ houses.
8 (D)They were like well-fed lusty stallions;
Every one neighed after his neighbor’s wife.
9 Shall I not punish them for these things?” says the Lord.
“And shall I not (E)avenge Myself on such a nation as this?

Lexham English Bible
7 “How[a] can I forgive you?
Your children have forsaken me,
and they have sworn by those who are not gods.
But I fed them to the full,
and they committed adultery,
and flocked to the house of a prostitute.
8 They were well-fed lusty horses,
they neighed each to the wife of his neighbor.
9 Because of these things shall I not punish?” declares[b] Yahweh,
“and on a nation who is like this, shall I not take revenge?
