And each of you (B)escape with his life
From the burning anger of Yahweh.

And after that [b]another report in [c]another year,
And violence will be in the land

When I will punish the (F)graven images of Babylon;
And her whole land will be (G)put to shame,
And all her slain will fall in her midst.
48 Then (H)heaven and earth and all that is in them
Will shout for joy over Babylon,
For (I)the destroyers will come to her from the north,”
Declares Yahweh.

49 (J)Indeed Babylon is to fall for the slain of Israel,
As also for Babylon (K)the slain of all the earth have fallen.
50 You (L)who have escaped the sword,
Go! Do not stand around!
(M)Remember Yahweh from afar,
And let Jerusalem come upon your heart.
