Jeremiah 50:11-13

11 “Because you are glad, because you exult,
O you who (A)plunder My inheritance,
Because you skip about [a]like a threshing (B)heifer
And neigh like [b]valiant steeds,
12 Your (C)mother [c]will be greatly ashamed;
She who gave you birth [d]will be humiliated.
Behold, she will be the least of the nations,
A (D)wilderness, a parched land, and a desert.
13 Because of the wrath of Yahweh she will (E)not be inhabited,
But she will be (F)completely desolate;
Everyone who passes by Babylon (G)will be in desolation
And will hiss because of all her wounds.

because you frolic like a young cow treading grain
and neigh like stallions,(A)
12 your mother(B) will be utterly humiliated;
she who bore you will be put to shame.
Look! She will lag behind all[a] the nations—
an arid wilderness, a desert.(C)
13 Because of the Lord’s wrath,
she will not be inhabited;
she will become a desolation, every bit of her.
Everyone who passes through Babylon
will be appalled
and scoff because of all her wounds.(D)
