² Tell the nations;
    proclaim it far and wide!
Set up a flag;
    proclaim it far and wide!
Hold nothing back;
    just shout it:
“Babylon is captured;
    Bel is shamed;
Marduk is panic-stricken.
    Her images are shamed;
        her idols are panic-stricken.”
