Jeremiah 48:37-38

New International Version

³⁷ Every head is shaved^(A)
    and every beard^(B) cut off;
every hand is slashed
    and every waist is covered with sackcloth.^(C)
38 On all the roofs in Moab
    and in the public squares^(D)
there is nothing but mourning,
    for I have broken Moab
    like a jar^(E) that no one wants,”
declares the Lord.
