27 “But as for you, O Jacob My servant, (A)do not fear,
Nor be dismayed, O Israel!
For behold, I am going to (B)save you from afar,
And your seed from the land of their captivity;
And Jacob will return and have (C)quiet
And be at ease, with no one making him tremble.
28 O Jacob My servant, do not fear,” declares Yahweh,
“For (D)I am with you.
For I will make a complete destruction of all the nations
Where I have banished you,
Yet I will (E)not make a complete destruction of you;
But I will (F)discipline you with justice
And by no means leave you unpunished.”

27 But do not be afraid, my servant Jacob.
Do not be terrified, Israel,
because I will save you from a faraway place,
and I will rescue your descendants from the land where
        they are captives.
Jacob will return.
He will enjoy quiet and be at ease,
and no one will make him afraid.
28 Do not be afraid, my servant Jacob, declares the Lord,

I will completely destroy all the nations
    among which I have scattered you,
but I will not completely destroy you.
I will discipline you with justice,
and I will not regard you as entirely innocent.
