5 But as [a]Jeremiah had not yet set out to return, [b]he said, “Return then to (A)Gedaliah the son of Ahikam, the son of Shaphan, whom the king of Babylon has (B)appointed over the cities of Judah, and stay with him among the people; or else go anywhere that is right in your eyes to go.” So the captain of the bodyguard gave him a (C)ration and a (D)gift and let him go.

5 Now while Jeremiah had not yet gone back, Nebuzaradan said, “Go back to (A)Gedaliah the son of Ahikam, the son of Shaphan, (B)whom the king of Babylon has made governor over the cities of Judah, and dwell with him among the people. Or go wherever it seems convenient for you to go.” So the captain of the guard gave him rations and a gift and let him go.
