2 In the fourth month of Zedekiah’s eleventh year, on the ninth day of the month, the city was broken into.(A) 3 All the officials of the king of Babylon entered and sat at the Middle Gate: Nergal-sharezer, Samgar, Nebusarsechim[a] the chief of staff, Nergal-sharezer the chief soothsayer, and all the rest of the officials of Babylon’s king.(B)

2 And on the ninth day of the fourth(A) month of Zedekiah’s eleventh year, the city wall(B) was broken through.(C) 3 Then all the officials(D) of the king of Babylon came and took seats in the Middle Gate: Nergal-Sharezer of Samgar, Nebo-Sarsekim a chief officer, Nergal-Sharezer a high official and all the other officials of the king of Babylon.
