6 The king of Babylon (A)slaughtered the sons of Zedekiah at (B)Riblah before his eyes, and the king of Babylon (C)slaughtered all the nobles of Judah. 7 (D)He put out the eyes of Zedekiah and bound him in chains to take him to Babylon. 8 (E)The Chaldeans burned the king's house and the house of the people, (F)and broke down the walls of Jerusalem.

6 Then the king of Babylon killed the sons of Zedekiah before his (A)eyes in Riblah; the king of Babylon also killed all the (B)nobles of Judah. 7 Moreover (C)he put out Zedekiah’s eyes, and bound him with bronze [a]fetters to carry him off to Babylon. 8 (D)And the Chaldeans burned the king’s house and the houses of the people with (E)fire, and broke down the (F)walls of Jerusalem.

6 There at Riblah the king of Babylon slaughtered the sons of Zedekiah before his eyes and also killed all the nobles(A) of Judah. 7 Then he put out Zedekiah’s eyes(B) and bound him with bronze shackles to take him to Babylon.(C)
8 The Babylonians[a] set fire(D) to the royal palace and the houses of the people and broke down the walls(E) of Jerusalem.
