Jeremiah 32:42-44

42 For thus says Yahweh, ‘(A)Just as I brought all this great evil on this people, so I am going to (B)bring on them all the good that I am promising them. 43 (C)Thus fields will be bought in this land of which you all are saying, “(D)It is a desolation, without man or beast; it is given into the hand of the Chaldeans.” 44 Men will buy fields for money, [a](E)sign and seal deeds, and call in witnesses in the (F)land of Benjamin, in the surroundings of Jerusalem, in the cities of Judah, in the cities of the hill country, in the cities of the [b]Shephelah, and in the cities of the [c]Negev; for I will [d](G)return their [e]fortunes,’ declares Yahweh.”

42 This is what the Lord says. Just as surely as I brought this great catastrophe on this people, so I will be the one to bring them all the good that I have promised them. 43 Once again fields will be purchased in this land, which you say is desolate, without man or animal, and which you say is handed over to the Chaldeans. 44 Men will buy fields for silver, sign the deeds, seal them, and call witnesses in the land of Benjamin and in the places around Jerusalem, in the cities of Judah, in the cities of the hill country, in the cities of the Shephelah, and in the cities of the Negev. I will restore them from their captivity, declares the Lord.
