44 Fields shall be bought for money, and (A)deeds shall be signed and (B)sealed and (C)witnessed, (D)in the land of Benjamin, (E)in the places about Jerusalem, (F)and in the cities of Judah, (G)in the cities of the hill country, (H)in the cities of the Shephelah, and in the cities of the Negeb; for (I)I will restore their fortunes, declares the Lord.”

44 Fields will be bought for silver, and deeds(A) will be signed, sealed and witnessed(B) in the territory of Benjamin, in the villages around Jerusalem, in the towns of Judah and in the towns of the hill country, of the western foothills and of the Negev,(C) because I will restore(D) their fortunes,[a] declares the Lord.”

44 They will pay silver to buy fields. There will be pieces of paper that show the agreement for the sale. There will be seals on those papers. People will watch and agree that the sale has happened. People will buy fields in the land that belongs to Benjamin's tribe and in the villages round Jerusalem. They will buy land in the towns of Judah, in the hill country, in the low hills in the west and in the Negev region in the south. At that time, I will bring my people back to live safely in their land. I, the Lord, promise that this will happen!’
