⁴³ Once more fields will be bought^(A) in this land of which you say, ‘It is a desolate^(B) waste, without people or animals, for it has been given into the hands of the Babylonians.’

²⁹ Also tell Jehoiakim king of Judah, ‘This is what the Lord says: You burned that scroll and said, “Why did you write on it that the king of Babylon would certainly come and destroy this land and wipe from it^(A) both man and beast?”^(B)

⁶² Then say, ‘Lord, you have said you will destroy this place, so that neither people nor animals will live in it; it will be desolate^(A) forever.’
